Read this before you rely on anything

Walkie Pro helps you keep track of what happened on your projects. It is not a system of record, and its automated output is not evidence of what was agreed.

If a detail matters — a price, a quantity, a date, a commitment — check it against the original recording, and put anything that needs to be binding into the instrument your contract requires.

1. Automated and AI-generated content

The Services use automated systems, including third-party AI models, to transcribe recorded speech, write summaries, extract action items and decisions, translate, and answer questions about your past content.

This output is frequently imperfect and is sometimes wrong in ways that matter.

Specifically, and without limiting the general point:

  • Transcription mishears. Names, numbers, prices, quantities, addresses, product codes, and technical terms are routinely transcribed incorrectly. Background noise, accents, crosstalk, and job-site conditions all degrade accuracy.
  • Summaries compress and interpret. A summary is a machine’s reading of a conversation. It may omit what mattered, include what didn’t, or characterize a discussion in a way no participant would recognize.
  • Attribution can be wrong. The system attributes statements and commitments to named individuals, and resolves unclear names to the person it judges most likely. It can attribute a statement to the wrong person, and it can record agreement where there was none. A summary saying someone approved something is not proof that they did.
  • Action items can be invented or missed. An extracted task may not reflect anything anyone actually undertook.
  • Translation changes meaning. Machine translation is unreliable for technical, contractual, and safety-critical language.

We do not warrant that any automated output is accurate, complete, or fit for any purpose. Do not rely on it as a record of what was said or agreed.

Where it matters, check the recording. The original audio is retained precisely so you can.

2. Generated content is not a finding about anyone

Summaries, action items, and decision tags are automated output, not statements by Walkie Corporation. We do not investigate, verify, or endorse them. We express no view on whether any person said, agreed to, or committed to anything.

Generated summaries cannot be edited or deleted — see Terms of Use §7.4. If generated content names you and is materially inaccurate, correct it in the conversation and write to support@walkiepro.com.

3. Not a system of record

Nothing in the Services modifies, amends, waives, supersedes, or forms any contract between you and anyone else.

A message, call, recording, transcript, summary, list item, decision tag, or follow-up is not:

  • a change order
  • a contract amendment or variation
  • a notice under any contract
  • a waiver of any right
  • an approval, acceptance, or sign-off
  • a submittal, RFI response, or certification
  • a lien notice, preliminary notice, or notice of completion

The Services do not satisfy any statutory, regulatory, licensing, or contractual requirement to create, deliver, retain, or produce records — including requirements applicable to home improvement contracts, residential construction contracts, real estate disclosures, prevailing wage or certified payroll records, safety records, or lien and notice requirements.

You remain responsible for your own project records. If something needs to be a formal notice, a written change order, or a signed contract, use the instrument your contract and the law require.

3A. The job bulletin is not a safety notice

Bulletin posts — site closures, live updates such as a slab being wet, access details — are messages between people on a job. They are not safety notices, and they are not a substitute for site signage, barriers, lockout procedures, toolbox talks, or any inspection or hazard communication your work requires.

Posts can be wrong, stale, or missing. A post saying a site is closed does not mean it is closed. A post that has expired does not mean the condition has passed. Nobody is obliged to post anything, and nothing checks that a post is accurate or up to date.

Do not rely on the bulletin to know whether a site is safe to enter or an area is safe to work in. Look at the site. Ask someone. Follow the procedures your employer and the law require.

The public page is a convenience, not a source of truth. It shows headlines only, it may be out of date, and it may be turned off or expire at any time. We do not warrant that it is available, accurate, current, or complete.

Access codes. Codes posted to a bulletin are stored so people on a job can use them. You decide whether to post a code and who can see it. We are not responsible for what happens if a code reaches someone it should not have, whether through your access settings, your headline text, someone you granted access to, or a device belonging to someone entitled to see it.

3B. Calls to people outside Walkie Pro

Where you call an ordinary phone number, you are responsible for whether recording that person is lawful and for telling them. The recorded announcement plays after the call connects, and it is not a substitute for your own disclosure. See Terms of Use §6.7 and §21(e).

We do not warrant that the announcement will be heard or understood; that the caller ID will be presented as intended, since telephone carriers may alter, label, or block it; that the call will connect at all; or that a summary of a call with someone who is not a user is accurate.

4. No professional advice

The Services do not provide legal, financial, accounting, insurance, engineering, architectural, surveying, environmental, safety, or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for a licensed professional.

Nothing in the Services should be relied on for compliance with building codes, permitting requirements, OSHA or Cal/OSHA obligations, licensing requirements, or any other regulatory obligation.

Get advice from someone qualified and licensed in your jurisdiction.

5. Availability and preservation

We do not warrant that the Services will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that messages and calls will be delivered, received, or recorded successfully.

We do not warrant that any content will be preserved or remain available. Recordings can fail. Processing can fail. Data can be lost.

Do not use Walkie Pro as your only copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Statements in our marketing about durable, long-lived, or retrievable project records describe what the product is designed to do. They are not guarantees, and they are qualified by this Disclaimer and by our Terms of Use.

6. Beta

The Services are currently in beta. Features may change substantially or be withdrawn, behavior may be unpredictable, automated output is less reliable than it will be, and content may be lost or reset.

Do not rely on the Services as your only record during the beta.

Where we publish testimonials, they reflect the individual experience of the person who gave them, shared with their permission. Individual results vary, and a testimonial is not a promise that you will have the same experience.

We may shorten a testimonial for length or correct obvious typographical errors, without changing its meaning. We do not pay for testimonials or compensate people for giving them. ``

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or under California Civil Code §1668.
