A note from the founder
I'm Ori Giron. I built Walkie Pro because I kept losing the same hour every night.
The work runs on calls. Somebody asks about a rough-in depth, you answer it standing in a garage, and the answer exists nowhere. By dinner you're wondering whether you confirmed the cabinet depth or told the tile sub about the niche relocation. Three jobs in, the group text has stopped being a record of anything.
Walkie doesn't ask you to work differently. It's the same calls and the same messages, with the record kept for you and filed under the right job.
What Walkie Pro does today
Messages and calls, organized by job. Every Walkie call recorded, transcribed and summarized. Photos, files and lists filed under the job. A bulletin for each job, for closures, access and the current drawings. Follow-ups that are yours alone. Ask Walkie, to find what was said. Translation in the summary, for crews that work in two languages.
Walkie Pro is not a push-to-talk radio app.
The name collides with a category it isn't in. There's no channel, no button to hold, no broadcast. Walkie calls are ordinary calls over the internet — to people on Walkie, or out to ordinary phone numbers in the US and Canada. Up to 4 people can be on one call, and every call is recorded and shared.
What we won't do
We won't build a monitoring dashboard, a productivity score, or a manager's view of anyone's private list. And we won't sell your conversations or open them to advertisers.
