Make the call. Walkie keeps the record.
Walkie Pro is a construction communication app. Call your crew in Walkie, or call any regular phone number in the US and Canada, and the call is recorded, transcribed and summarized for you.

Here's a quick one… calling anyone, right from Walkie.
Not everyone you call is on Walkie. You can still call them from Walkie... and the call still gets written up.
On Calls, tap search, then the keypad... and type the number. Or pick someone from your contacts.
The first time, Walkie checks your mobile with a quick call. It takes about thirty seconds... and you only do it once.
You'll see the number they'll see... your own mobile. Tap Call.
They hear a short notice that the call is recorded. Then you just talk.
Afterward, the call has its summary and its key points. Pick the project it was about... like any other call.
And you choose whether they get a text recap... Text them, Ask me, or Don't.
Calls in Walkie
Everyone on the call gets the same recording, transcript and summary, filed under the job. Not a copy, not a summary of a summary — the same thing.
Two people on Free and Crew. Four on Plus and Elite. Whoever starts the call sets the limit.
Call anyone's regular number
You can call anyone's regular phone number from Walkie, and they don't need the app.Calls to regular phone numbers work for US and Canadian numbers. The call is recorded, transcribed and summarized for you, and the person you call hears a short spoken notice that the call is recorded.
That record stays with you. The person you called has no Walkie account and no access to it. If you want them to have the summary, you send it to them.
The summary, in your language
Translation in the summary, for crews that work in two languages.
Set the language you speak in Walkie, and your summaries are translated into it. Only you see it.
Your Walkie line
A Walkie line is a US phone number of your own, inside Walkie. When someone who isn't on Walkie calls it, it rings in Walkie, and the call is recorded, transcribed and filed like any other Walkie call.
When you call someone who isn't on Walkie, you choose the number they see: your Walkie line or your mobile. Pick your Walkie line and their callbacks ring in Walkie.
On the plans that include one. A caller who isn't answered may not be able to leave a voicemail on your Walkie line.

Let's set up your Walkie line. It only takes a minute.
Want one number your customers can call... that rings right in Walkie? That's your Walkie line.
On You, tap Calls... then Get a Walkie line. Pick a number, and claim it.
When someone calls it, they hear a short notice that the call is recorded. Then it rings in Walkie.
Answer, and talk. The call gets its summary and key points... and you pick the project, like any other call.
Your mobile stays yours. Your Walkie line is for work.
What a minute is
The length of a call is what comes out of your minutes. Calling itself is free and never runs out.
What every call keeps
- Every Walkie call is recorded, so nobody has to take notes.
- Everyone in that conversation gets the same recording, transcript, and summary.
- Call a regular phone number and the recording is saved to the job, for you.
- Call audio is kept for 3 years and then deleted. Transcripts and summaries are kept like messages, indefinitely.
Questions about calls
Does the other person need Walkie?
No. Walkie rings their phone like a normal call and they answer it the normal way.
Can I call numbers outside the US and Canada?
No. Calls to regular phone numbers only reach US and Canadian numbers.
Is every call recorded?
Yes. Every Walkie call is recorded, from the moment it connects until it ends. There's no switch to turn it off. A call to a regular phone number is recorded too, and that record stays with you.
Does my plan include a Walkie line?
A Walkie line comes on the plans that include one. Open You › Calls: if your plan doesn't include one, the Your Walkie line row says which plans it comes with.
