If it didn’t work
- The app says “Plans aren’t sold in this app in your country.” Plans aren’t sold in the app where you are. On an iPhone, that follows the country of your App Store account.
- You paid, but the old plan still shows. In Plan & usage, tap Refresh under “Your plan follows your account.”
- Your plan shows Crew, Plus or Elite, but you never paid. Walkie can give you a plan, such as a free month earned through Invite & earn. Plan & usage shows the date it ends, and after that you move to Free.
- You see a charge that says Walkie and you don’t know why. Contact us below.
What Walkie can’t do
- Paid plans are sold to customers in the United States only.
- There are no extra minutes or questions to buy on their own.
- Apple and Google never bill for Walkie. Payment goes through Stripe only.
- Walkie doesn’t take your card in the app. You enter it on Stripe’s page.

Quick answers
- Can I buy a paid plan?
- Yes, if you're in the United States. Paid plans are sold to customers in the US. You buy one in Plan & usage, and you pay on Stripe's checkout page in your browser.
- Will I be charged for using Walkie?
- Only if you buy a paid plan. Free costs nothing and asks for no card.
- What do I get on Free?
- 5 Ask questions a month, 6 months of history, and 2 people on a call. The minutes limit is on. A call gets its transcript and summary if anyone on it has minutes left when it ends, even if the call runs past their balance. If nobody does, the call stays a recording, and new calls are written up again when minutes reset. Translating a voice memo or writing up a walkthrough needs enough minutes left to cover it, and a video transcript needs someone on Plus or Elite with enough minutes left to cover the video.
- Can I buy extra minutes or questions?
- No. Minutes and questions come with your plan. For more, move to a bigger plan.
- Does Apple or Google bill me for Walkie?
- No. Walkie bills only through Stripe, even when you buy from the iPhone or Android app.
- Why don't I see a way to buy in the app?
- Plans are sold to customers in the United States. On an iPhone, the buy button shows only when your App Store account is in the US.
