How far back your plan reaches
Your plan sets how far back messages and calls show. Older ones are hidden, never deleted. Notes, lists, jobs and follow-ups are never hidden.

Your plan sets how far back your messages, photos, files, voice memos and calls show: 6 months on Free, 3 years on Crew, 10 years on Plus, and full history on Elite. Older ones are hidden, not deleted, and notes, lists, jobs, follow-ups, contacts and events are never hidden.
Steps
To see your plan’s window:
- Tap You.
- Under Plan, tap Plan & usage.
- Look under History. It reads “Your plan keeps” and your window “of history”, or “Your plan keeps all of your history.”
In a conversation, when you scroll back to the edge of your window, a card reads “Your plan keeps” and your window “of history”, then “Nothing has been deleted. Older messages are kept, and upgrading your plan shows them here again.”
If it didn’t work
- Something older is missing from search too. Search covers only what’s on this device, and it stops at the same window.
- Ask can’t find something old on Free or Crew. Ask stops at your window on those plans. On Plus and Elite, Ask searches everything.
- You tap See plans on the card. Paid plans are sold to customers in the United States. You upgrade in Plan & usage, and pay on Stripe's checkout page in your browser.
- Something recent is missing. That isn’t the window. See Messages or photos aren’t showing up.
What Walkie can’t do
- The window can’t be widened for one conversation or one job. It’s the same across your whole account.
- Walkie doesn’t delete anything when it passes out of your window. Call audio is kept for three years and then deleted. Transcripts and summaries are kept like messages, indefinitely. That’s retention, not your window.
- A move down to a smaller plan narrows your window at the end of the period you paid for. Moving up widens it once the new plan starts.
